Tokenized Real-World Assets Reach $38 Billion as U.S. Treasuries Dominate the Market

The global tokenized real-world asset (RWA) market has grown to $38.17 billion. Bringing it within $2 billion of the $40 billion milestone and underscoring the rapid institutional adoption of blockchain-based financial products.
According to RWA.xyz, tokenized U.S. Treasury securities remain the largest asset class, accounting for $16.21 billion across 87 tokenized Treasury products, with Circle’s USYC leading the segment at approximately $3 billion. Beyond Treasuries, strong growth has also been seen in tokenized commodities, stocks, private credit, and real estate. While the number of RWA holders has surged 56% over the past month to more than 1.7 million. The continued expansion highlights how tokenization is bridging traditional finance and decentralized finance (DeFi).
Enabling fractional ownership, 24/7 settlement, greater transparency, and broader investor access. As major financial institutions increasingly embrace blockchain infrastructure, tokenized RWAs are emerging as one of the fastest-growing sectors in digital assets and a key driver of institutional adoption.
