AI Titans Unite In ‘Artificial Superintelligence’ (ASI) Merger
Three leading projects in blockchain-based artificial intelligence (AI), Fetch.ai, Ocean Protocol, and Singularitynet (SNET), have revealed plans to merge their tokens into a unified cryptocurrency called “artificial superintelligence” (ASI).
The collaborative effort, announced by the project teams, aims to combine the individual tokens—fetch.ai (FET), singularitynet (AGIX), and ocean protocol (OCEAN)—into ASI, symbolizing “artificial superintelligence.” Following the announcement, all three cryptocurrencies surged in value, with double-digit percentage gains, reflecting the growing significance of AI tokens in the crypto landscape, approaching a collective valuation of $30 billion.
Dr. Ben Goertzel, Humayun Sheikh, and Trent McConaghy, luminaries in the field, are leading the merger to create a leader in AI research, applications, and commercialization. ASI’s anticipated fully diluted valuation stands at approximately $7.5 billion, offering a native currency for the machine economy and unlocking new possibilities in decentralized technologies.
