Spacebrat just minted her first NFT, “Gleam,” and it’s been taking the art world by storm! Jasmine Monsegue, the creative brain behind Spacebrat, was stunned by the sheer popularity of her NFT, which was minted over 30,000 times on planet Earth alone within the first 23 hours. By the end of the mint’s 48-hour window, the Holograph protocol enabled over 300,000 fans to mint the NFT across multiple chains, with the majority of collectors claiming their token on Polygon.
Holograph, created by CXIP Labs, is a multi-chain approach to art and digital collectibles, supporting Ethereum, Avalanche, BNB Chain, and Polygon. “Gleam,” previously exhibited at WHAAM! in New York for Jasmine’s solo show “Pipe Dream,” is available on secondary marketplaces like OpenSea, but each chain has its own dedicated page. Fans could mint the NFT for free, but they still had to pay the transaction costs or “gas fees.” Holograph’s spokesperson said that out of the 301,798 times “Gleam” was minted, the NFT was minted 203,000 times on Polygon.
