Manchester City Joins Forces with OKX for Mintable Football Shirt NFTs

Okx, in collaboration with the English football club Manchester City, has launched digital collectible football shirts minted as non-fungible tokens (NFTs). 

Named “Unseen City Shirts,” these collectibles will be available for minting from April 22-25 on Okx’s marketplace, with randomly assigned rarity levels such as classic, rare, or ultra-rare. Fans who mint these NFTs will have opportunities to win physical Manchester City shirts, match tickets, and even a play-on-pitch experience. Haider Rafique, Okx’s chief marketing officer, emphasized the campaign’s aim to engage global fans authentically, leveraging Web3 technology’s value. Nuria Tarré, Manchester City’s chief marketing officer, highlighted the club’s commitment to incorporating the metaverse and Web3 into innovative technology strategies to enhance engagement with their fanbase. 

This partnership builds on Okx’s existing collaborations with Manchester City, including its role as the official training kit partner and sleeve partner.
