Empowering Users: Nubank Adds Advanced Crypto Wallet Functionalities for Bitcoin, Ether, and Solana
Nubank, a Brazilian neobank, has expanded its cryptocurrency services by introducing new features for its customers.
The Sao Paolo-based organization now allows deposits and withdrawals of bitcoin, ether, and solana within its cryptocurrency platform, enhancing its functionality beyond just buying, holding, and selling assets. This move aligns with Nubank’s strategy to provide comprehensive crypto wallet services, catering to the evolving needs of its users. The bank announced that these crypto transfers may take up to 60 minutes, depending on the blockchain network’s status, and reminded users to verify the destination wallet before completing transactions due to their irreversible nature.
Although this feature rollout is gradual and not yet available to all customers, Nubank plans to extend support to other cryptocurrencies soon, building on its initial offerings of bitcoin and ether introduced in May 2022. The neobank’s cryptocurrency services have seen significant growth, with nearly 2 million customers making at least one cryptocurrency purchase via Nubank’s app by September 2022.
