Binance Executive Facing Extradition to Nigeria by Kenyan Authorities Before Month’s End

Nadeem Anjarwalla, a Binance executive who previously escaped custody in Nigeria, is facing extradition back to Nigeria by the month’s end.

Reports indicate that Interpol is involved in facilitating this transfer. Anjarwalla’s situation gained attention after law enforcement agencies located him in Kenya. Nigerian authorities, including the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, have been coordinating with Kenyan counterparts regarding the extradition process. However, challenges may arise due to Anjarwalla’s alleged ties to influential figures in Kenya. A Kenyan detective noted that the extradition process involves complexities, including the need for court approval and navigating Anjarwalla’s connections.

While Interpol’s involvement is mentioned, the detective suggests that obtaining a red notice or arrest warrant may not be immediate.
