Aptos Labs, a blockchain infrastructure developer, forged partnerships with major tech and finance firms to bolster its Aptos Ascend digital asset management platform.

Aptos Ascend, tailored for financial institutions, will leverage Microsoft Azure and Azure OpenAI Service for generative AI applications. Additionally, it will integrate Brevan Howard’s market investment expertise and SK Telecom’s web3 technology to enhance wallet-as-a-service functionalities. Collaborating with Boston Consulting Group, Aptos aims to advance decentralized finance adoption among institutional capital and bolster tokenized asset liquidity globally.

Aptos Labs’ co-founder and CEO, Mo Shaikh, emphasized the platform’s commitment to compliance, security, and scalability, catering to global financial institutions and tech-forward money markets. Notably, Aptos Labs previously collaborated with Microsoft in August 2023 to innovate digital payments and tokenization. Headquartered in Palo Alto, Calif., Aptos Labs boasts seasoned expertise, with co-founder Avery Ching and CEO Mo Shaikh bringing valuable experience from Meta Novi. The firm’s native token APT, ranked 26th in market capitalization at $3.9 billion, reflects investor confidence in its vision, trading at $9.19 on April 17.
