XRP Demand Could Rise as Real-World Asset Tokenization and Onchain Credit Expand

The growing adoption of real-world asset (RWA) tokenization and onchain credit could increase demand for XRP as blockchain technology becomes more integrated with traditional finance.

Tokenizing assets such as bonds and loans allows institutions to manage ownership, transfers and settlement more efficiently. According to Odelia Torteman, head of digital assets at XRPL Commons, XRP’s role in transaction fees, account reserves and liquidity could support long-term demand as institutional adoption expands.

The XRP Ledger is strengthening its position in tokenized assets and institutional finance, supported by Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin, which has surpassed $2 billion in market capitalization. Upcoming features, including the Lending Protocol and Single Asset Vaults, could enable onchain lending, collateral management and new financial products. These developments suggest XRP’s future growth may increasingly depend on real-world blockchain applications and institutional usage rather than speculative trading alone.
