World Lands Expands to Brazil with Cutting-Edge Biometric Solutions in São Paulo

World, a project using biometric proof-of-humanness, is launching in Brazil this week. Operations will begin at ten locations in São Paulo, where users can register through Orbs, devices designed to scan irises.

To address data protection concerns, Damien Kieran, VP of Data Protection at Tools for Humanity, met with Brazil’s Ministry of Science and Technology and the National Data Protection Agency (ANPD).
