US Dollar Hegemony Nearing its End, Cautionary Note from Prominent Economist
Renowned economist Stephanie Pomboy has issued a stark warning, declaring that the decline of U.S. hegemony is undeniably underway.
In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Pomboy emphasized the apparent oversight of U.S. policymakers, including the Biden administration, who, she claims, remain oblivious to the mounting challenges to the U.S. dollar as the global reserve currency. Pomboy shed light on a significant trend, revealing that an increasing number of nations are distancing themselves from the U.S. dollar. She highlighted their strategic shift towards gold, oil, and other resources while opting for local currencies in international transactions. Pomboy underscored the urgency of the situation, stating, “The demise of the U.S. hegemony is really upon us.”
Notably, the BRICS nations, along with six additional countries, are actively exploring alternatives, such as using their national currencies and even considering the creation of a common currency. The warning echoes sentiments from other experts, including Robert Kiyosaki, Peter Schiff, and Jim Rogers, who have all expressed concerns about the potential downfall of the U.S. dollar’s status as the world’s reserve currency.
