Uniswap Expands to Soneium, Unlocking NFT and Entertainment Transactions Onchain
Uniswap has launched on Sony’s Layer 2 platform, Soneium, enabling users to swap tokens, provide liquidity, and bridge assets across networks.
This integration facilitates onchain transactions for digital assets like collectibles and tokenized IP. Since its January 2025 debut, Soneium has focused on protecting intellectual property and expanding Web3 access through projects like minting “Solo Leveling” NFTs and distributing NFTs at JPop concerts.
The partnership supports Soneium’s mission to empower creators in a permissionless, interoperable ecosystem, with Sony Block Solutions’ chairman highlighting its role in strengthening Web3 engagement.
