UAE Welcomes Standard Chartered’s New Bitcoin and Ethereum Custody Solutions
Standard Chartered has launched a digital asset custody service in the UAE, licensed by the Dubai Financial Services Authority.
Initially focusing on bitcoin and ethereum, the service aims to offer secure storage for digital assets. Brevan Howard Digital is the first client, and the bank plans to expand its offerings to include additional digital assets.
The launch highlights increasing institutional interest in regulated digital asset services and reflects the growing demand for secure, compliant solutions in the financial sector.
