UAE Introduces AI Education for All Students, Starting in Kindergarten

Starting next year, schools across the UAE will begin teaching artificial intelligence (AI) to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Announced by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, the initiative aims to prepare future generations for a tech-driven world by combining technical skills with ethical awareness. The AI curriculum, divided into three stages, introduces students to digital thinking, AI design, real-world simulations, and the societal impact of the technology.

Specialized teachers will deliver the lessons using flexible ministry-provided resources, integrating AI into subjects like computing and innovation to build skills for higher education and future careers.
