UAE Emerges as the Global Leader in Crypto Fascination
The UAE ranks as the world’s most crypto-obsessed country, according to a study by Atmos, scoring 98.4 due to its high ownership (25.3%) and rapid adoption (210%).
Despite having just one Bitcoin ATM, the UAE outperforms Singapore (97.5) and the U.S. (85.4). The study highlights that adoption thrives where accessibility, regulation, and real-world use align. Canada, with the second-most Bitcoin ATMs, ranks fourth, while Turkey’s high ownership (19.3%) is offset by low adoption.
Switzerland’s slow adoption reflects a mature market, and South Korea lags due to limited infrastructure.
