TFH’s World App Achieves 10 Million Users Amid Worldcoin Growth
TFH’s World App wallet, compatible with Worldcoin, has surpassed 10 million users, including 2 million daily active users across 160 countries.
This achievement coincides with the release of new data management tools for Worldcoin users, the iris-enabled biometric cryptocurrency project founded by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. TFH Product Head Tiago Sada expressed excitement over the milestone’s real-world impact. The wallet boasts an average transaction speed of 7.1 transactions per second, aligning with leading self-custodial wallets.
Launched in May 2023, the World App garnered approximately 4 million downloads by November of that year and processed over 70 million wallet transactions. Worldcoin introduced two new privacy-focused features: the ability to revoke permissions for World IDs through permanent iris code deletion and in-person age verification checks at each humanness verification location.
