Tether Expands Reach with USDT Integration on TON Network, Eyeing Telegram’s Vast User Base

Telegram users now have access to Tether’s USDT stablecoin on The Open Network (TON), a move that integrates digital dollar transactions seamlessly into the messaging app. 

With over 900 million users on Telegram, this partnership aims to simplify crypto transfers by eliminating the need for complex crypto addresses. To incentivize adoption, TON has allocated 11 million TON tokens, valued at around $69 million, as rewards for USDT usage across the network. The reduced transaction fees of $0.10 per USDT transaction on TON further enhance accessibility and usability, reflecting Tether’s mission to enhance financial infrastructure in the blockchain space.
