A new report by consultancy firm Universelle highlights the SRC20 protocol’s unmatched data permanence, setting it apart from other protocols on the Bitcoin network.
The study also finds that an upcoming cost-reduction upgrade makes SRC20 particularly attractive for long-term projects and investments. Unlike BRC20 and Runes, SRC20 does not require transfer inscriptions or splitting UTXOs, enhancing its user-friendliness. Despite currently having lower venture capital investment than BRC20, SRC20 is rapidly gaining support and infrastructure.
