Spirit Blockchain Capital Taps DOGE Holdings for Innovative Treasury Yield Strategy

Spirit Blockchain Capital, a Canadian-listed firm, has unveiled a strategic plan to generate yield from its Dogecoin (DOGE) holdings.

Following its acquisition of Dogecoin Portfolio Holdings Corp. last November, Spirit launched the initiative in December 2024, aiming to maximize the financial performance of its digital asset treasury.

CEO Lewis Bateman highlighted the goal of tapping into a new revenue stream and positioning Spirit as a leader in yield generation for both DOGE and the broader digital asset market. While the strategy carries inherent risks due to DOGE’s volatility, Spirit’s innovation may set it ahead of competitors in the evolving market.
