Solana Takes on Mobile Giants with Bold Seeker Initiative
Solana Mobile will begin shipping its second phone, the Seeker, on August 4, aiming to challenge the current mobile ecosystem dominated by tech giants.
Alongside the phone, the company is launching TEEPIN, a decentralized platform built to give users and developers more control, reduce fees, and support Web3 applications. The Seeker follows the Saga phone and has already received over 100,000 orders, many paid in stablecoins.
TEEPIN’s three-layer architecture—hardware, distribution, and verification—enables open access for decentralized apps. Solana Mobile also introduced SKR, a native token for powering transactions in this new ecosystem.
