Solana Surpasses Ethereum with 5 Billion+ DEX Transactions in 3 Months
Solana has outpaced Ethereum in transaction volume over the past three months, processing 5.053 billion transactions compared to Ethereum’s 1.138 billion.
Decentralized exchange (DEX) activity also soared, with Solana reaching $1.9 trillion in volume versus Ethereum’s $504.83 billion. Solana boasts 344 million active addresses, five times Ethereum’s 82.56 million, even with Ethereum’s Layer 2 data included. However, Ethereum still leads in total value locked (TVL) at $64.47 billion, far surpassing Solana’s $11.38 billion.
With its speed, affordability, and potential Solana ETF approval, Solana is solidifying its position as a serious Ethereum competitor.
