Solana Surpasses Ethereum in Developer Growth for 2024
A recent Electric Capital report reveals that Solana has surpassed Ethereum in attracting new developers in 2024.
Solana gained 7,525 new developers, a growth of 83% year-over-year, while Ethereum saw a decline of 22%, adding 6,456 developers. Solana’s success is also reflected in its dominance in decentralized exchange (DEX) and NFT minting activity. Handling 81% and 64% of transactions, respectively.
This growth is attributed to Solana’s community-driven innovations, including new tools and applications that have fueled a surge in developer activity.
