Solana Altcoin Ownership Shakeup: Memecoin Enthusiast Claims Largest Stake Ahead of Bitcoin Halving

A crypto whale active in Solana-based memecoins has emerged as the largest holder of a dog-themed altcoin, PUPS, with a total accumulation of $4.29 million, according to Lookonchain. 

This entity made a notable purchase of 8,862 PUPS worth $512,000 just before the Bitcoin halving, solidifying its position as Solana’s top PUPS holder. Lookonchain also highlights the whale’s ownership of President Joe Biden-themed BODEN and dog-themed WIF tokens. Recent observations by Lookonchain reveal Solana whales taking advantage of market corrections, with one investor acquiring SLERF and BOME tokens, while others capitalized on discounts for BODEN. However, the firm also noted four whales panic-selling WIF during the same period, offloading a total of $12.41 million.
