Shiba Inu Team Cautions Community Against Fake Airdrops Amid NFT Collection Launch

Shiba Inu’s marketing lead, Lucie, urges community members to stay vigilant. Following the launch of the project’s new collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
Introduced on February 20th, the Sheboshi NFTs utilize the DN404 standard, combining features from ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens. All 20,000 Sheboshis were quickly sold out, prompting holders of Doge Killer (LEASH) and Shiboshis to rush for the new collection. Lucie emphasizes the breeding plan for Shiboshis and upcoming Shiba Eternity P2E lineup. Stating that genuine holders focus on the project’s long-term value.
However, amid the Sheboshi hype, Lucie warns of potential scams exploiting the NFT’s popularity with fake airdrop announcements. She advises users to exercise caution and double-check information on official channels to avoid falling victim to phishing attempts targeting crypto wallets.
