SHIB Under Scrutiny: US Transfers $54 Billion in Meme Coin Crackdown
The U.S. Marshals Service has moved 54 billion SHIB worth $1.56 million to a consolidated Ethereum wallet, sparking speculation about its crypto holdings.
The wallet, valued at $32.44 million, also includes 4,815 ETH and $13.10 million in BUSD. This comes after a controversial transfer of nearly 20,000 BTC to Coinbase, drawing criticism over the government’s crypto strategies.
Onchain data reveals the U.S. still holds significant assets, including 198,109 BTC, 54,544 ETH, and $122 million in USDT, alongside smaller, less liquid cryptocurrencies.
