Pyypl and Visa Collaborate to Expand Prepaid Card Access in MEA

Pyypl, a fintech firm active in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), has teamed up with Visa to launch virtual and physical prepaid Visa cards through its mobile app. 

This partnership aims to improve financial inclusion in the region by expanding access to financial services for underserved populations. The introduction of Visa virtual cards targets 850 million smartphone users, enabling their participation in the digital economy. Visa’s strategy emphasizes growth and innovation among digital natives throughout MEA, supporting broader access to financial services.
