Bitriver, a leading Russian data mining company, has partnered with the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) to expand data center infrastructure and AI initiatives across BRICS nations.
This collaboration, announced at the recent BRICS conference in Moscow, aims to enhance Russia’s global presence in AI and cryptocurrency mining by addressing the shortage of energy-intensive data centers. Bitriver CEO Igor Runets emphasized that the partnership will focus on creating the necessary infrastructure to support AI projects.
As Russia’s largest data center operator, Bitriver plans to build additional facilities, while RDIF seeks to establish a joint investment platform to advance high-tech initiatives within the BRICS alliance.
