PayPal Partners with MoonPay: US Customers Gain Access to Crypto Purchases
In a groundbreaking move, PayPal and MoonPay have collaborated to introduce a fiat-to-crypto service exclusively for U.S. customers.
This partnership integrates PayPal’s renowned payment solutions with MoonPay, making it the first on- and off-ramp provider to do so. U.S.-based users can now purchase cryptocurrencies directly through MoonPay using PayPal Balance, bank withdrawals, or debit cards. This integration simplifies the buying process, eliminating manual data entry and enhancing accessibility for PayPal’s customer base.
MoonPay’s CEO, Ivan Soto-Wright, highlights the lowered entry barriers for new crypto users and the diverse payment methods and token access provided by this collaboration. MoonPay plans to extend these services to its partner networks by mid-2024, further enhancing the crypto trading experience.
