PayPal Boosts Crypto Access: 60 Million Venmo Users Now Connected to MoonPay
PayPal has integrated Venmo with MoonPay, allowing its 60 million users in the U.S. to fund cryptocurrency transactions.
Users can now buy and sell digital assets on MoonPay using their Venmo balances, linked bank accounts, or cards, enhancing payment flexibility. However, this option is not available in New York and Texas.
This integration builds on PayPal’s previous partnership with MoonPay, aiming to provide a seamless payment experience while expanding their digital asset offerings. MoonPay, a financial technology platform, benefits from Venmo’s user base, further broadening its payment options in the crypto space.
