OverProtocol Unveils Open Beta Testnet and Rewards Community Involvement

OverProtocol, a layer one blockchain with a focus on democratizing validation, has outlined its ambitious plans for the upcoming year, including a mainnet launch in the first half.
Following a successful closed beta testnet in October, which engaged 15,000 applicants from 127 countries, OverProtocol is gearing up for a mainnet launch by announcing an open beta testnet and an inclusive incentive program. The OverProtocol Community Airdrop Program (OCAP) will kick off with an airdrop, encouraging community participation through two quests. The first quest, already active on OverWallet, has garnered over 4.7 million users in the past six months. The second quest invites users to run validators via OverNode on the Open Beta Testnet. The OBT is divided into two seasons, offering participants a chance to experience home staking and explore Ethanos, a key feature of OverProtocol. The accumulated scores from both seasons will determine the airdrop amount.
OverProtocol envisions a decentralized ecosystem where anyone can serve as a validator, leveraging the innovative ‘Ethanos’ protocol. CEO Ben emphasizes the opportunity for individuals to earn rewards through ‘home staking,’ fostering a new era of financial opportunities. Participants can engage in OBT season one by downloading the OverNode client, completing missions, and staying updated through official channels. The visionary OverProtocol aims to empower individuals with a decentralized internet.
