This collaboration simplifies transactions with local currency and streamlines verification, eliminating ID requirements for purchases under $100. Onboard Global handles risk management, verification, and provides a secure P2P platform, while also offering various purchasing options via partnerships with multiple liquidity providers. Coinbase’s Base network integrates into this partnership, providing a scalable, low-cost transaction protocol.

This strategic expansion into Nigeria marks the first of many countries where Coinbase’s wallet will integrate Onboard’s P2P exchange, as Onboard aims to expand its services to over 50 countries.
