Storm’s report highlights Metaplanet’s impressive transformation from a struggling hotel developer to a major player in the Bitcoin space, with its stock skyrocketing 3,600% in 2024. Metaplanet’s successful Bitcoin treasury strategy, implemented last year, has earned it the nickname “Microstrategy of Asia.” CEO Simon Gerovich called the coverage a significant milestone, helping institutional investors better understand the company’s Bitcoin-first business model.
