Majority of Institutions Set to Expand Crypto Holdings, Survey Shows

A recent Coinbase survey reveals that 83% of institutional investors plan to increase their crypto allocations in 2025, with many citing strong returns, the rise of decentralized finance (DeFi), and the growing use of stablecoins as key drivers.
The survey, conducted in collaboration with EY-Parthenon, also found that 59% of respondents aim to allocate more than 5% of their assets to crypto.
Despite regulatory uncertainties, institutional confidence in digital assets is surging, with DeFi engagement set to rise from 24% to 75% in the next two years.
