Lyn Alden Predicts Moderate Liquidity for 2025, Expects Limited Market Gains
Macro guru Lyn Alden predicts that while global liquidity will rise in 2025. It won’t be as explosive as previous surges in 2017 and 2021.
In a recent interview, she stated that liquidity is expected to improve compared to the challenging conditions of 2022 but will follow a gradual upward trend rather than a sharp increase.
Alden attributes this steady growth to the large amounts of debt locked in at lower interest rates. Which limits refinancing and new investments despite potential rate cuts. She cautions that pockets of the U.S. economy are slowing, and current rate adjustments may not effectively stimulate growth.
