LimeWire Goes Crypto: Integrates Cardano, XRP, Polygon and More for Token Sale Payment Options

LimeWire, the content-sharing platform, has integrated several cryptocurrencies, including XRP, to enable customers to purchase their newly-launched token, LMWR. LimeWire added XRP as a payment method after a Twitter poll garnered 300 retweets in favor of the integration. Customers can also purchase the token via the LimeWire website using cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum, USD Coin, Tether, Bitcoin, Binance Coin, Algorand, Pepe, Dogecoin, Polygon, and Cardano. LimeWire relaunched last year as a marketplace for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and has since evolved into a membership platform. The LMWR token can be used for multiple purposes, including token rewards for loyalty and activity, community voting rights, and creator royalties. Once the public sale is complete, the token will be listed on at least four cryptocurrency exchanges.
