Lacoste Introduces Gamified Web3 Program with NFT Perks for User Engagement
French clothing brand Lacoste has unveiled its latest venture in the Web3 space, introducing a gamified ecosystem that utilizes tokens to incentivize user participation and engagement in activities and community events, accompanied by NFT-related perks.
The initiative, known as UNDW3, originally launched in June with the release of 11,212 profile picture NFTs inspired by the brand’s crocodile motif. Now, Lacoste is expanding the program to create a lasting digital destination that fosters a deeper connection between customers and the company. UNDW3 NFT holders who link their crypto wallets to the UNDW3 portal gain access to creative contests, video game quests, and interactive conversations hosted by Lacoste.
The more users engage and accumulate points, the rarer their NFTs become, increasing their value. The brand aims to leverage blockchain as a catalyst for a more inclusive and experiential digital realm, involving customers in the creative process. UNDW3 missions will take place on Discord and Lacoste’s website, with seasons divided into month-long chapters, rewarding the top 200 engaged users at the end of each season.
