Kraken Unlocks 11,000 Stocks & ETFs, Blurring the Line Between Crypto and Wall Street

Kraken has entered the equities market, offering commission-free trading for over 11,000 U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs alongside crypto on a single platform.

Initially available in 10 U.S. jurisdictions, the service—powered by FINRA-regulated Kraken Securities—supports fractional trading, instant reinvestment, and seamless management of digital and traditional assets through the Kraken and Kraken Pro apps.

Co-CEO Arjun Sethi called the move a step toward tokenizing assets and delivering a 24/7, borderless trading experience. Kraken plans to expand stock trading to more U.S. states and international markets, including the UK, Europe, and Australia.
