Bitcoin Mining Giants Bitmain and Canaan to Launch Ultra-Efficient Mining Products
Bitmain and Canaan, two leading Bitcoin mining rig manufacturers, are gearing up to introduce a new generation of mining products with significantly improved efficiency.
Bitmain will feature its upcoming release at the 2023 World Digital Mining Summit, and it will belong to the Antminer S21 line, boasting an impressive efficiency rating of 1X joules per terahash (J/T). Industry experts anticipate that this level of efficiency will surpass the current leading miners. Canaan, in response to Bitmain’s announcement, has revealed that their forthcoming Avalon A14 series will also achieve the same remarkable efficiency rating of 1X J/T.
While both companies have confirmed these efficiency enhancements, they have yet to disclose the terahash per second output. Miners are eagerly anticipating devices that not only improve efficiency but also increase terahash per second output, especially with the upcoming BTC halving event on the horizon. Canaan will provide more details about their A14 series at the upcoming “Avalon Bitcoin & Crypto Day” conference in Singapore on September 12.
