Interstellar Ambitions: Space Tech Company Set to Send Physical Dogecoin (DOGE) to the Moon in Upcoming Mission
Astrobotics, a space technology firm, has unveiled plans to send a physical representation of the popular meme cryptocurrency. Dogecoin (DOGE), to the moon in December.
The announcement reveals that Astrobotics, specializing in space robotics, intends to place physical DOGE on the Peregrine Lunar Lander set to launch on December 23rd. The initiative, funded by the DOGE community in 2015. Symbolizes a collective effort. The physical Dogecoin will be transported to the moon through DHL’s MoonBox, a time capsule designed by the German logistics firm to preserve items on the lunar surface for centuries.
Astrobotic accepted various personal mementos for inclusion in the mission, creating “Moon Capsules” with global contributions. Ranging from photographs and novels to student work and even a piece of Mount Everest. Dogecoin’s current reflecting a 5% increase in the last 24 hours.
