Grayscale Bolsters Bitcoin ETF Team Ahead of Anticipated SEC Lawsuit Verdict

Grayscale Investments, having filed a lawsuit against the SEC after the denial of its Bitcoin Trust’s ETF conversion bid in June, is expanding its ETF team in light of an impending verdict in the case.

The company announced on Twitter that it is currently hiring for two positions: a product specialist and a senior associate, both intended to bolster the ETF team. The positions have garnered over 50 applications within the past week, as noted on LinkedIn. The senior associate’s role involves contributing to investment product development and collaborating with the ETF team, while the product specialist will optimize the investor experience, focusing on ETFs.

The lawsuit decision, which Bloomberg Analyst James Seyffart suggests could be imminent, might influence the SEC’s stance on spot Bitcoin ETFs, potentially leading to approval if Grayscale wins. Such ETFs have garnered interest from companies like BlackRock, Fidelity, and ARK Investment Management, with anticipation for multiple approvals simultaneously upon regulatory clearance.
