Garanti BBVA Launches New Crypto Wallet and Trading Platform in Turkey
Turkish bank Garanti BBVA has taken a significant step towards embracing digital assets by launching “Garanti BBVA Crypto,” a crypto wallet and trading platform.
Through this platform, customers can seamlessly trade and store BTC, ETH, and USD Coin (USDC) using the bank’s mobile app. Additionally, the bank plans to introduce the Bonus Platinum Biometric Card and a “Request Payment” feature, enhancing its fintech offerings.
Despite regulatory hurdles in the crypto sector, Garanti BBVA’s successful launch demonstrates a positive trend for banks providing digital asset services while maintaining strict compliance standards.
