Ethereum Foundation-Linked Whale Moves $288M in 92,500 ETH
On July 25, 2024, blockchain trackers including Whale Alert identified a transfer of 92,500 ETH. Valued at $288 million, to an unidentified wallet.
Arkham Intelligence suggests that these funds might be linked to the Ethereum Foundation, though this connection is not confirmed. The transfer originated from a wallet flagged as possibly associated with the Ethereum Foundation. Which received the funds on September 1, 2015.
The new wallet, holding the transferred ETH, shows no signs of selling or moving the funds despite the recent downturn in ETH prices and the introduction of spot ether ETFs.
