Empowering Bitcoin Cash: Fundraising Kicks Off to Maintain API Access
Actorforth.org has launched a fundraising campaign to prevent the shutdown of its Bitcoin Cash (BCH) API service, a free resource supporting developers since 2021.
Facing unsustainable server loads and no commercial use, the service processes up to 10,000 requests per hour. Funds raised will enhance server capacity, improve software, and sustain the service for another year, with stretch goals like web socket event subscriptions if the campaign exceeds its 30 BCH target.
Actorforth, now part of Biggestlab.io, stresses the importance of preserving this vital tool for the BCH developer community and urges swift action before the Dec. 31 shutdown deadline.
