December’s Bitcoin Mining Profits Already Outshine November’s
Bitcoin mining is ending the year on a high note, with December revenue reaching $1.33 billion, surpassing November’s $1.21 billion.
This surge is driven by higher Bitcoin prices, despite a drop in hashprice from $61.78 to $55.57 per PH/s over the past month. Bitcoin’s hashrate hit a record 805 EH/s, with 65 entities contributing at least 286.33 KH/s. A scheduled difficulty adjustment on Dec. 29 reflects faster-than-average block intervals.
With two days remaining, December’s onchain fees, at $37.69 million, are close to November’s $38.73 million, signaling continued growth fueled by technological advancements and strong market demand.
