Cryptocurrency Adoption Soars: 34.6% of Young Investors in Brazil Hold Digital Assets
A survey by Rico, a Brazilian investment platform, highlights that 34.6% of young investors aged 24 to 35 include cryptocurrency in their portfolios, ranking it as the fourth most popular investment behind savings (50%), fixed-income products (41%), and stocks (37.2%).
The study, which surveyed 1,008 young respondents, emphasizes that while cryptocurrency is gaining traction, many still prefer more established options. Rico’s research analyst, Antonio Sanches, noted that the accessibility of traditional savings accounts influences this preference. He also warned about the rising trend of risky bets among young investors, stressing the importance of understanding financial products before investing.
