Crypto Investment Products Hit Record $44B Inflows in 2024, Says Coinshares
In 2024, digital crypto investment products saw a record $44.2 billion in net inflows, nearly four times the previous high of $10.5 billion in 2021, according to Coinshares.
Bitcoin led with $38 billion in inflows, making up 29% of total assets under management (AuM). Ethereum made a strong comeback, recording $4.8 billion in inflows, 2.4 times more than in 2021. XRP funds attracted $438 million, while Solana brought in $69 million. The U.S. dominated with spot-based ETFs, overshadowing outflows from Canada and Sweden. 2025 is off to a strong start, with $585 million in inflows in the first three days of the year.
