Cetera Financial Group Greenlights Four U.S. Spot Bitcoin ETFs

Cetera Financial Group, with $475 billion in assets under administration and $190 billion in assets under management, has greenlit four U.S. spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for use in brokerage accounts.
The decision aims to assist affiliated financial professionals in guiding clients to integrate bitcoin ETFs into their investment portfolios, backed by education and resources. Matt Fries, head of investment products and partner solutions, emphasized the careful approach to embracing bitcoin ETFs and the priority of offering guidance for implementation.
The approved ETFs include Blackrock’s Ishares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC), Invesco Galaxy Bitcoin ETF (BTCO), and Franklin Bitcoin ETF (EZBC). Since their launch on Jan. 11, reputable ETF providers have equipped these selections with established resources, and they have witnessed significant global demand. Moreover, Bank of America’s Merrill Lynch, Wells Fargo, and Carson Group have also embraced spot bitcoin ETFs, reflecting the growing momentum and widespread acceptance in the financial sector.
