Bitdeer Considers U.S. Bitcoin Mining Rig Manufacturing Amid Tariff Concerns

Bitdeer, a publicly traded bitcoin mining firm, plans to start manufacturing its mining rigs in the U.S. by late 2025 to counteract trade tariffs imposed by the Trump administration.
The company will also prioritize self-mining using its in-house machines to reduce reliance on foreign-made ASIC miners. Which are mostly produced in Asia. Bitdeer aims to boost domestic production and job creation while seeking clarity on evolving tariff policies. This move follows the successful testing of its SEAL03 wafer, which delivers 9.7 J/TH in energy efficiency.
