Bitcoin ETFs See $226M Outflow, While Ethereum Funds Thrive with $130M Gain

On Dec. 23, Bitcoin ETFs faced significant outflows, with $226.56 million leaving their reserves.

Fidelity’s FBTC suffered the biggest loss, shedding $145.97 million, followed by Grayscale’s GBTC, which lost $38.39 million. Despite this, Bitcoin ETFs still hold a cumulative $35.83 billion in inflows for 2024. In contrast, Ethereum ETFs saw a surge, attracting $130.76 million in inflows, driven largely by Blackrock’s ETHA, which gained $89.51 million.

These inflows brought the total for Ethereum ETFs to $12.05 billion, reflecting strong demand in a jittery market.
