Bitcoin Boom: Poland Now Leads Over El Salvador in ATM Numbers
Poland has climbed to fifth place in the global Bitcoin ATM rankings, surpassing El Salvador with 219 active machines after adding 10 new ATMs in January 2025.
The country has rapidly expanded its crypto infrastructure, installing 24 ATMs since October 2024, with more expected soon. While the U.S. and Canada lead globally, followed by Spain and Australia, El Salvador has stagnated at 215 ATMs despite its early adoption of Bitcoin.
Worldwide, over 38,000 crypto ATMs now operate across 65 countries, showcasing the steady growth of the crypto ecosystem.
