Binance Teams Up with African Initiative to Boost Crypto Usage
Binance, the popular cryptocurrency exchange, has recently announced a partnership with African video streaming service Showmax. The collaboration is aimed at promoting the adoption of cryptocurrencies in Africa, and Binance users who sign up for Web3 will receive a month-long video streaming subscription as a reward.
According to a Business Day report, about 500 Nigerian Binance users who enroll to become active participants in Web3 will be eligible for this promotion. This latest campaign is in line with Binance’s commitment to providing accessible and convenient platforms for users to participate in the digital economy.
Emmanuel Ebanehita, a representative of Binance, expressed his excitement about collaborating with Showmax to provide an incredible opportunity for new users to be active participants in Web3. He also highlighted the fact that many Africans are eagerly embracing the underlying technology behind crypto.
Opeoluwa Filani, the general manager at Showmax Nigeria, also commended the collaboration, which will see more people using his company’s video streaming platform.
To participate in Binance’s crypto education and adoption initiative, users must complete registration and perform a transaction worth $10. They can then confirm their participation in the campaign by filling out a form.
